I first realized I might have a hearing challenge in the early 70’s. I had no fears or concerns before contacting Golden State Hearing Aid Center and was immediately impressed by the excellent, caring group. Hearing aids have been a tremendous help. I would tell anyone concerned about their hearing to go get tested with Ryan. My favorite thing about working with the clinic is Ryan's secretary, who is very sweet and knowledgeable.

It started with a ringing in my ears that would not go away. You never realize it until you catch yourself asking people to repeat what they said. As a fairly young guy, I did not want to advertise my hearing loss with hearing devices in my ears, but the truth is, most hearing devices look like ear buds these days. My first impression of Golden State Hearing Aid Center was absolutely fantastic. I felt welcome, comfortable, and realized I could have a better quality of life because the staff believes it is possible. Wearing hearing aids has dramatically changed my life. I am not asking people to repeat themselves, and now rivers, oceans, and streams sound like they should. They are calming, but they are not calming if you can’t hear them. The best thing about working with the clinic is that they use best practices, are super nice, and truly believe they can help. My advice is: Don’t wait, put your pride to the side, and get help. Why limit your life when you can get help walking down life’s path?

I’ve had hearing loss for over 25 years, and the biggest challenge was not being able to understand my wife or people at work and in the field. I needed to get hearing aids so I wouldn’t miss out on hearing properly. When I first met Ryan at Golden State Hearing Aid Center, we connected immediately. He is very easy to work with, has top notch knowledge and experience, and his follow up is also very good. Having aids that work is extremely beneficial, and being able to hear well is very important to me and those around me. My favorite thing about working with the clinic is becoming a friend and not just a number. Don’t hesitate to call them. You will be very happy and satisfied that you did.

I did not really notice my hearing loss until my wife became increasingly frustrated with my inability to hear her speak. I had no fears before contacting Golden State Hearing Aid Center. My first impression was that the staff was friendly and helpful, and the setting was professional. Now I can hear conversations and television programs without turning up the volume so high, and I can hear my family’s conversations much more clearly. I would tell anyone concerned about their hearing that it's a pleasant and rewarding experience, and is neither intimidating nor uncomfortable. My favorite thing is that the friendly staff always makes me feel appreciated and is anxious to solve any problems.

My hearing loss came on slowly and progressively got worse. I thought people were not speaking loud enough and my wife got tired of me saying WHAT? After much research and talking to other hearing aid wearers, it became obvious Golden State Hearing Aid Center was the place to go. From my first visit, everyone was welcoming, and from the front desk to Ryan Holden, they genuinely did everything I had expected and more.
The entire office is friendly and truly cares about your hearing health. With so many options to choose from and Ryan’s depth of knowledge, this is the place to go. After wearing hearing aids for a decade and seeing a handful of audiologists, I couldn’t recommend anyone else in good faith.

I first realized I had a hearing challenge when my granddaughter was talking to me and I did not know she was very upset. My main concern before contacting Golden State Hearing Aid Center was whether they were the right fit for me. My first impression was that everyone was very friendly and helpful. My favorite thing about working with the clinic is being patient and understanding that you have to try the hearing aids out for a while. I would tell anyone concerned about their hearing to go try them out. When you do get them, put them up if you are not using them and keep them out of the mouths of dogs!

Working around noisy instruments in the hospital lab for years, I realized it was difficult to understand conversations with fellow employees. I felt left out and isolated because I was unable to hear conversations correctly. Before contacting Golden State Hearing Aid Center, I was worried that hearing aids would make me look old and be very obvious. The staff were very helpful and reassuring, and I was impressed with the caliber of the testing equipment and tests performed. Wearing hearing aids has been a very positive experience. I can engage with people so much better. I find it easier to talk and understand people, and I am more outgoing. The staff are very professional and understanding, and they make your concerns a priority. It is one of the best things you can do for your health because not hearing can take a toll on your brain functioning.

I first realized I had a hearing challenge when I was 59 years old, after my wife and several friends mentioned I was asking them to repeat themselves, which was becoming quite annoying to them. I knew I needed some help and didn’t really have any fears before contacting Golden State Hearing Aid Center. I was immediately impressed with Ryan Holden, who was low key, very knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely interested in me rather than just selling a hearing aid. Wearing hearing aids has been a game changer. You really don't realize how much you are missing until you actually put on a good, high quality hearing aid. The clinic is extremely professional, very courteous, always eager to help and make sure you're happy with your purchase, and always accessible if you have questions or need adjustments. If you are concerned about your hearing and considering visiting, do it! You will not be sorry you did.

My first impressions were good because they were very patient and kind, and Ryan is very knowledgeable about hearing aids. He measured my ears, ordered the right style, and now I can certainly hear better. Hearing aids have changed my life for the better. I would encourage anyone concerned about their hearing to go see Ryan and seek hearing aids.

I’ve had childhood hearing loss and wondered if my hearing could be improved. My first impression of Golden State Hearing Aid Center was incredible service. Access and service have been my favorite parts of working with them. With hearing aids, I am able to function normally in quiet environments. There’s not much to lose by trying, and I would highly recommend them.
