The honest answer
If it isn't worth fixing, we'll say so.
Good to know
I bought them somewhere else.
That's fine. Any prescription hearing aid, any brand. If a repair erases your settings, we'll ask your old office for a copy, or do a new hearing test and set them up ourselves. We'll tell you that cost first. If your aids are locked to the store that sold them, we can still send them in for repair, but we can't change the settings.
What don't you fix?
Over-the-counter hearing aids and Lyric. OTC aids aren't built to be serviced, and Lyric is replaced, not repaired. We'll tell you on the phone and save you the drive.
Will I be without my hearing aids?
Usually not. If yours has to go to the maker, we can set you up with a loaner while you wait, as long as we have a hearing test on file and a standard receiver-in-canal aid fits your loss. A deposit may be required.
Is it still under warranty?
Bring it in and we'll look it up. If we sold it and it's covered, there's no charge to send it in. If you bought it elsewhere, the $105 visit covers our diagnostic and the manufacturer covers the repair.
What should I bring?
The charger or fresh batteries, and the case. A copy of your hearing test if you have one from another office.
